The SolidWorks 2009 Beta program awards prizes to the most active testers. Beta testing allows for better products in the long run, and SolidWorks needs user feedback from the SolidWorks community to know and understand the needs of its users. Mor participation from the community means a better final release version in the end. The more people help the SolidWorks Beta Program, the better it will get.

And so, as a result we tent to improvise as did these poor folk in this video. But you have to admit they are brilliant, I never would have thought about generating power off my cats via static electricity. I mean come on!, they even found a way to make a musical cat!

Now it is the task of you and I to generate enough electricity off a cat to power your Parallax Propeller chip. It really won’t take much, and just think about all of the exciting things you could do! Such as creating blinkers for you cat when it turns left or right, or a beeper for when it backs up. Here is a preliminary design idea for you to think about. I think this just might work! ;)
